Men’s Tennis

Your Grizzly Men’s Tennis team has quietly been one of the most consistently successful programs over the last 15 years here at UM.

This program has 5 appearances in the Big Sky Conference finals in the last decade and is coming off of a 2022 season in which it was nationally ranked for the very first time in school history along with being the very last undefeated team in Division 1 that season, a feat that has never been close to happening by anyone else in our conference’s history.

Men’s Tennis also just won the overall team academic award in athletics for the 5th consecutive year carrying a cumulative 3.75 GPA.  These are STUDENT-athletes from all over the globe who need your support more than ever.

Trying to compete on a national level in tennis here at Montana has a huge set of obstacles built in that we are trying our best to overcome but we cannot do it without your support.

We are the only program in the conference without either a paid assistant coach or our own indoor facility to practice at.  There are extra insurance costs for international students and cost of attendance issues for these athletes as well that we need constant help in trying to provide the very best college experience for them.  The support we receive now will go directly to funding these student-athlete’s education and provide them with a chance to compete on an even basis with the other teams in the Big Sky.  We have had an amazing culture of success here that continues on after graduation as well and as a team we want to continue to be able to bring in the highest quality to people to compete in the maroon and silver and do Griz Nation proud on and off the court.

Go Griz!
