MONTANA GRIZZLY SCHOLARSHIP ASSOCIATION

Dear Griz Nation:

The UM Dance Team is calling on your support! We are currently fundraising to attend the College Classic National Competition again this April!

Our team is comprised of 21 talented members, the largest team in program history. We currently have the longest season of any sport, running from late July until mid-April. We love dancing at all home football, basketball, and volleyball games throughout the year, as well as attending almost all Grizzly Athletics events! Being a dancer for UM is a big time commitment, with 4 practices per week, in addition to games, weight lifting, study hours and events and appearances. We love being a part of Griz Nation and supporting our great University!

Although our program is greatly supported by the athletic department, we fundraise to cover additional expenses designed for, travel to the Big Sky Conference Basketball Tournament, new uniforms, practice gear/cold weather gear, and Nationals.

This is an extremely exciting time for the UM Dance Team and we can’t thank you enough for all your continued support of our program!

What is my gift used for?

Every year the UM Dance team has costs that they are required to cover such as practice equipment, team uniforms, travel to away games, and now to compete at the national level. This year it will cost around $4,000 per dancer:

$250 – Practice & cold weather gear
$1,200 – Travel, hotel and food for Conference Tournament in Boise
$2,500 – Travel/fees for Nationals
