2025 Home Football Tailgating Information

“Home Of The $5 Beer”

At each Griz home football game, the Grizzly Scholarship Association (GSA) teams up with Summit Beverage to host a tailgate party. The tailgate runs two and a half (2.5) hours prior to kickoff and for approximately 15 minutes at halftime. A wide variety of beer and wine are available to purchase for $5 (16 oz cans) each as well as food, soda and water. Enjoy music and the live pre-game radio show which is broadcast from the GSA Tailgate area. We hope you can stop by for a bite to eat and some good ol’ fashioned Montana hospitality in this fun and exciting environment. 

This GSA tailgate is open to any and all fans. With proceeds going directly to the GSA and our mission of providing student-athlete scholarships!

New This Year:

Starting in 2025 the GSA Tailgate will be selling drink tokens instead of tickets. The tokens will be good for the whole year. In years past the tickets were only good for that specific game. This year if you have one left over, no problem, come back and see us the next week to claim your drink!

September 6th – Central Washington (3:30pm)
September 13th – North Dakota (10:30am)
September 20th – Indiana State (10:30am)
September 27th – Idaho (5:45pm)
October 11th – Cal Poly (11:30)
October 18th – Sacred Heart (10:30am)
November 8 – EWU (10:30am)
November 22 – Montana State (9:30am)

The tailgate is located northwest of the stadium, outside of the North End Zone, directly across from the Campus Recreation building.
